    Hi backus Thanks for the information. I only got it today on my return from Pembrokeshire. Anyway I went last night and just as you said there were plenty of Starling coming to roost. My estimate about 2 million. No marsh harrier or peregrines but about 4 buzzards Regards Charlie

    I am spending New Year again with friends who live in Fishguard. Last year I went to see the starling mumuration at Plumstone Mountain and wondered if any one has seen them there this winter. Charlie
