    I must say that I din't think of a pheasant but considering all the possibilities I must agree with you both. It does explain why I was unable to find him back, a bird of prey would have taken off at some stage. It was those white feathers that really confused me. Thanks for the help, Louis

    Hi guys I saw this bird in oukaimeden (Atlas). It appeared a few times from behind some rocks. ( I am not even sure the pics are from the same bird ) and it went away. I could only get this pics... Thanks for looking at them. LP
