    Farmoor Reservoir aka Grebe City

    Cracking day out today , first visit to Farmoor . Superb confiding Grey Phalarope the star performer backed up with two Black Necked Grebes , a Red Necked Grebe and numerous Great Crested Grebes. Very friendly local birders , even met a fellow Black Country baggies supporter. Thanks Oxfordshire.

    Scottish Highlands

    Came across this little fella while we were wandering round a castle in the Highlands a couple of weeks ago . Not totally sure what it is , can't find any juvenile grouse or pheasant pictures that match , colour is really bright red is it a juvenile Red Grouse ??
