29cm. Medium to deep blue heads, red napes black-blue abdomen, yellow-green, yellow-orange, yellow-green underparts.
Distribution
Northern Australia.
Taxonomy
Regarded by some authorities as a subspecies of Rainbow Lorikeet.

The diet includes insects, nectar, seeds, flowers, pollen, buds and fruits.
2 eggs are laid and incubated for 24 days. The young will fledge in 10 weeks.
