Distribution
South America: endemic to east Amazonian Brazil (near west bank of lower River Tapajós)
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
They are found in the understorey of humid lowland evergreen forests.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists almost entirely of insects. They follow army ant aswarms.
