Distribution
Endemic to northern Borneo.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Sometimes placed in the genus Megalaima.
Habitat
Canopy of tall montane forest, forest edge at 1000-2000m
Behaviour
The best way to find this endemic is to look for fruiting trees; it is difficult to see as they are inclined to sing on the tops of the trees.
Diet
There is little information available, but thought to be fruit and berries.
