    Harrier, Corsica

Thanks, I asked 2 local birders with experience on both species, they also lean towards 2cy Pallid. One of the participants managed to get an underwing shot as the bird briefly took off, I'll upload it here when he sends it to me.

    Harrier, Corsica

Hello, I spotted this harrier today in Corsica while guiding a bird walk for the local birdwatching group. I would make it a Pallid but not entirely sure, both Pallid and Montagu's were reported from this area during the past few days. Thanks !

Which parts of CR to visit?

Preparing a trip to CR myself and from what I read Carara is indeed much better than Manuel Antonio... Scarlet Macaws seem virtually guaranted there. In Carara NP there are trails around the NP headquarters and also one more trail north from the NP HQ (Sendero La Meandrica) both are apparently...

    Which Phylloscopus? Morocco, Agadir, yesterday

Chiffchaff for me (they do hover)... Edit : could also be an Iberian Chiffchaff based on range, some do look very much like Chiffchaffs but are impossible to tell apart in the field unless they sing...
