    Pink bellied munia - dyed?

    While in Jakarta a few weeks ago I had what most certainly was a Javan Munia with a bright pink belly. It was carying nesting material in and out of a palm in front of the Airport Sheraton Hotel. I had heard that in some bird markets they will dye birds, any comments?
