    If you want small binoculars, you are going to have to make some serious compromises. As long as the binoculars you are want are not the binoculars you can/will carry, I think you have set yourself an insoluble problem. No matter how much money you spend, or no matter how many different ones...

    Your implants may have UV filtration, mine do, your ophthalmic surgeon will know. I wear sunglasses more than I used to, just because the world has gotten so much brighter.

    I guess the thing which has always struck me as absurd, is the idea that a piece of paper with a bigger number printed on it is “worth more” than one with a smaller number.

    Cataract surgery (with lens implants) is a big big deal. Since vision deteriorates slowly, you really don’t realize just how bad it is, until you get it fixed. The biggest difference will be on the short (violet) end of the spectrum, due to getting rid of yellowed lenses. The world will...

    It may depend. Horizontal misalignment is much easier to tolerate than vertical.
