RSPB Middleton Lakes (2 Viewers)

11/4/14 DBP 3 Common Tern north pit today and 1 seen yesterday Fergus Mosey, other sightings from today.
jubille wetlands Black-tailed Godwit and Dunlin
North pit Ad Med Gull. Geoff Williams

14/4/14 DBP Lesser Whitethroat singing by Fisher's mill bridge. Jubilee wetlands 24 Dunlin, 8 Ringed Plover, 4 LRP, Redshank, Common Term, m White Wagtail
North pit E Side Sedge Warbler singing from brambles, Goosander, 2 Common Tern.

16/4/14 DBP Jubilee wetlands 7:30 a.m Glossy Ibis, chased off by gulls, again at 11 a.m and still present 2:55 p.m
Also Avocet, Black-tailed Godwit, 13 Ringed Plover, Med Gull, 3 Grasshopper Warbler, Sedge Warbler and Yellow Wagtail F Mosey and K THorpe (warden).

Hi all,

I would be interested to know if the Glossy Ibis at Middleton is the same as the Belvide bird. The Belvide bird has some inner primaries missing from the left wing which shouldn't be too hard to see.

17/4/14 DBP Jubillee wetlands Glossy ibis, 4 Avocet (moving between north pit, all unringed), Sanderling, Black-tailed Godwit, 6 Dunlin, 15 Ringed Plover, Redshank, 4 LRP, 2 Common Tern, 2 White Wagtail, Yellow Wagtails over.
Newreedbed pit Snipe.
North pit Med Gull, 2 Oyst.
Lesser Whitethroat, Whitethroat, 3 Grasshopper Warbler reeling, Reed Warbler, 4 Sedge Warbler.

Hi all,

just seen a photo of the Middleton Glossy Ibis showing the left wing with all primaries intact, so it's not the Belvide bird.
