Red Winged Blackbird (Agelaius phoeniceus)

Every year this guy decideds to claim his territory and raise his family near a small pond surrounded by a large hay field. Because there are no trees near his pond, he will perch atop this power pole beside the road that passes close by. He always scolds me as I walk past and I can't help but take a few shots.
