Pipevine Swallowtail (Battus philenor: Papilionidae) leaving the Texas Indian Paintbrush (Castilleja indivisa). Wingspan: 7.0-10.2 cm (2.75-4.0 in).
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area. Open pastureland with a few scattered trees and a large stock pond at ca. 65 m (213 ft) elevation.

Peach Creek Road, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
