At the Colosseum (Rose-ringed parakeet) (Psittacula krameri)

I leave my home in my parakeet paradise in Brazil to go to Europe and this is what I see high up at the Colosseum walls.

After I got back to the hotel I googled it so now I know, but when I took the picture I had no idea parakeets had invaded Italy, so you can imagine my face when I saw these beauties in that amazing historical building 🤣🤣🤣

WOW that is so fabulous. once when i was living in 3rd floor flat, a couple was nesting in a hole under my kitchen window. was busy those days with my PHD thesis.
