Wirral high tide (1 Viewer)

There were roadworks on Parkgate front blocking the road completely on Wednesday this week, opposite the Mostyn School, hope they are finished by the 9th.

Last Saturday

Access was indeed possible past Mostyn School but despite the advertised 9.98m high tide it wasn't the great inundation I and evidently many others had hoped for. Arriving with only about an hour to go we had to park down the lane to the nurseries, as it was so rammed, and the best we had were single distant Hen Harrier and the Spoonbill. T'other half was expecting close-ups and is demanding Martin Mere next time having seen it on telly.
