Shrike, Goa (1 Viewer)

Looking through some photos from my trip in Late Jan/Early Feb 2018 to North Goa and I came across this nondescript bird on wires near Tikkanem.

Isabelline? They are described as 'scarce/infrequently recorded'

Any ideas?

Another shot, showing more tail detail

I wasn’t disagreeing with you btw BW, just pointing out the long outer retrices and long pp would rule out the alternative Brown Shrike. Also note shallowish bill shape compared to Brown Shrike (or even RBS). The upperparts are very rufous though, so I wonder if there is a bit of mixed genetic history in there?
