Yes. This is absolutely fascinating. I think it speaks to the high intelligence of covids that they can re-purpose materials whose intended use is against them. Instead of using thorny nests for protection they just use the modern material offerted to them by humans. They must be laughing their heads off at us while thumbing their beaks.
