This song was recorded at the boundary of a farm field and oak/maple/cedar forest at the edge of a bluff above a small gorge with a moderate sized stream. The song is a thin, stepped rising then falling.

May 05, 2020, 15:30 - Highland County, Southwest Ohio.

Apologies for the poor recording - I heard this song only twice and didn't get an opportunity for a better recording.

I've looked up many recordings and voice descriptions and have come up empty. The closest I could get is a Golden-crowned kinglet, but this song doesn't drop into a chatter like the kinglet - it's fairly evenly spaced throughout.

I'd appreciate any comments.
