When does a Tawny-shouldered become a Red-shouldered?

Sorry... Both species as-far-as-I-can-tell, are found distributed more or less throughout island.
This one was seen near Banao, within the Ecological Reserve, which is in Sancti Spiritus.
I was careful not to adjust saturation etc., but honestly, the continuum from orange to red (in other photos) is pretty subtle. Unless perhaps you see the bird in-flight, it seems - to my eyes - very difficult to really know.
