Astro eyepieces for Vortex Razor spotting scope (1 Viewer)

Hi all, my wife has purchased a vortex razor spotting scope for me for Christmas this year. It is the older Razor gen 1 gray 20-60x85 angled spotting scope that she picked up on a black friday deal. I came across another thread that pointed out that there is an adaptor from APM designed to allow Swarovski ATS scopes to use astro eyepieces. APM Spotting Scope Adapter - 1.25"

Since I also do astronomy as a hobby, I have several astro eyepieces. One of them is the Bader Hyperion Zoom Mark iii 8-24mm, and I also have some fixed astro eyepieces that in other scopes outperform the Bader zoom optically. I think it's hard to make a zoom eyepiece that is as good as a fixed. Just out of curiosity, if I got this adaptor, would the Bader Hyperion Zoom be better optically than the zoom eyepiece that comes with the Razor? Could I perhaps get a wider field of view or better optical performance with say a fixed astro eyepiece? What are your thoughts?

The zoom that comes on the old Razor is a well done clone of the Swarovski 20-60 zoom, nearly indistinguishable from the Swaro original I compared it to (although recent Swarovski examples probably have improved coatings). From my experience with the Razor I think the scope body is likely to be the limiting factor for image quality, not the eyepiece.
