African Desert Warbler on Tenerife (2 Viewers)

I received a text from a friend on holiday in Tenerife saying that he had found an African Desert Warbler in dunes south-west of Las Medero. I've no idea how specific that is as directions go as I've never been there.

He hasn't found any info suggesting it has been around for a while, so is assuming he has found it. If anyone has any info to the contrary please post here.

Slightly better directions for the warbler, which was still present this morning, are:

South-west of La Medano in western end of dunes between hotel Playa Sur Tenerife and gun emplacement at Petra Maria.

Ricard at Rare Birds Spain hadn't heard of it before.

Rather put to shame by the photos taken of the Lanzarote bird, please find attached a cropped photo of the El Medano bird; all you can really pick up is the very small size and striking paleness.
