Distribution
Pacific Islands: found on Micronesia and Palau.
Taxonomy
Has been considered conspecific in the past with Bridled White-eye and Plain White-eye.
Subspecies
There are 3 subspecies[1]:
- Z. s. semperi on Palau Islands (Babelthuap, Koror, Garakayo and Palau)
- Z. s. owstoni on Truk (Caroline Islands)
- Z. s. takasukasai on Pohnpei (Caroline Islands)
