Identification
Ashy-headed Greenlet has olive upperside except for grey head and nape, grey underside with yellow wash on breast. Eye is dark brownish-red.
Distribution
Eastern Venezuela (where rare or overlooked), French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, Brazil, Peru (where rare/accidental), and Bolivia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Most common in coastal areas, including mangroves, humid and drier forest and edges.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists mostly of insercts, such as beetles, ants and the larva of butterfly and moth species.
Movements
Probably a sedentary species.
