Muttonbird Lookout
After breakfast we headed off for the intriguingly named Muttonbird Beach; this is in the general direction of Denmark, which we'd visited a few days before.

Unfortunately, I have a confession to make... I made a mess of the pictures I tried to take that day, so all I've got for you is a rather stunning view.

This was taken from the Muttonbird Lookout high on the cliffs. You can just see the end of Muttonbird Island on the left.

I was so hoping to see some passing Gannets, but couldn't spot any sadly.

A muttonbird is sometimes used as a name for the Flesh-footed Shearwater, but of course you already knew that, didn't you.
