Finally a snowy cardinal
I know I haven't posted much lately, however, couldn't resist taking a few minutes and taking some photos of the birds in our unexpected snow from last night. I have envied Cardinals in the snow pictures for years, and although this isn't the best it will do.
Habitat
Found throughout much of North America in both urban and Suburban areas.
Location
Backyard, Hereford, Arizona
Date taken
December 31, 2012
Scientific name
cardinalis cardinalis
Equipment used
Canon 1D MkIII, Canon 300mm f4 lens
Super colorful image showcasing Mr. Cardinal in all his glory, great color, clarity and composition. So nice to see you Lisa, only this morning I was looking at Arizona Birding.
Happy New Year to you and yours.

Thanks, all. And Tom just to much work and other responsibilities. My only resolution is to spend more time with the great people and photos on this forum, I sure hope to keep it.

Great setting and lighting for this red beauty. Excellent shot, Lisa !
