Hypsipetes guimarasensis


22 cm (8¾ in)

  • Greyish crown
  • Whitish underparts with streaked breast


Found on Guimaras, Masbate, Panay, Negros, Ticao and Verde in the Philippines.


This is a monotypic species.
It was formerly included in Philippine Bulbul and placed in genus Ixos.


Forest edge, advanced second growth and forest.



There is little detailed information. Their diet consists of fruit and probably some insects too.
