Myrmothera simplex


Adult: Upperside is dark brown, belly and throat white, and flanks and breastband vary between cinnamon and greyish depending on subspecies.


Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil.


Four subspecies are recognized1: simplex, duidae, pacaraimae, and guaiquinimae.
