Moist lowland forests, often in spots with less undergrowth.

Less shy when singing then otherwise, but difficult to see none-the-less due to a song that doesn't allow direction detection (ventriloquial).

Hops and runs on the ground and on logs. There is little information about their diet, but it is thought to be mostly arthropods.
