33–35 cm
There are two sub-species which have very different bill colouring.
S. r. langsdorffii has a black bill but with the base a green-grey colour


South America: found in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil

Forest and forest edges.



Their diet consists of fruit, particularly figs and some insects.
