Distribution

Western Africa: found in Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon and Democratic Republic of Congo,.

Taxonomy

Subspecies

There are 2 subspecies[1]:

  • G. c. crossleyi:
  • G. c. pilettei:
  • North-eastern Zaire (Semliki Vallei and western slope of Itombwe highlands)

Formerly placed in genus Zoothera.

Habitat

Moist montanes and ravines.

Behaviour

The diet includes insects and seeds.
