Reviews
Terry O'Nolley's review Saw my first Hooded Merganser here. A large variety of waterfowl and an easy to navigate paved trail that leads all the way around the lake (about 2 miles). This place is definitely worth a stop but I wouldn't plan a full-days drive around it.
Pros
- Beautiful lake with wooded path
- easy access.
Cons
- Too public - constant flow of joggers
- bikers
- dogs
- yelling kids
- etc.
