Description

Taxonomy

Myrmotherula is a genus in the family Thamnophilidae.

For discussion of Moustached Antwren, see the entry for Pygmy Antwren.

Several species previously included in this genus[2] have been moved to the new genus Epinecrophylla, Star-throated Antwren has been moved to the genus Rhopias.[1][3]
