Identification
Distribution
South America: found in south-eastern Bolivia to western Paraguay, southern Brazil, Uruguay and northern Argentina.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Subspecies argentina is not generally recognised[1].
Habitat
Scrub forest.
Behaviour
Vocalisation
Very loud screeches and screams.
