Identification
Distribution
Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
Taxonomy
Two subspecies recognised:
- F. d. muelleri in southern Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo
- F. d. dumetoria on Java, Bali and the western Lesser Sundas (Lombok, Sumbawa and Flores)
Tanimbar Flycatcher was formerly included in this species.
Habitat
Moist lowland forests and montanes.
