Genus: Platysmurus
Description
This genus contains only one species, the Black Magpie from southeast Asia.
This species is considerd an early Treepie, more heavily built and with a proportionately shorter tail.
Taxonomy
Platysmurus is a monotypic genus in the Family Corvidae.
