Accipiter, Bang Phra, Thailand, July 2nd (1 Viewer)

I saw this accipiter at Bang Phra Reservoir which is about 1 1/2 hours south-east of Bangkok, Thailand last Sunday (July 2nd). At the time I didn't get a great look because of the sun and simply marked it down as an accipiter sp., but after looking at these pics think that I could be able to confirm this bird as a juvenile Shikra. Any thoughts much appreciated.

agree with you on Shikra. Look how short the first few primaries are.
