    European Honey Buzzard ???

    I agree with that someone, structure definitely leans toward honey buzzard- black on the trailing edge and what we can make out of the the markings on the underwing also all point to H-B. Seems pretty definitive to me.

    Yes, first I've seen in years. Had rock sparrows, house sparrows and a solitary tree sparrow in the same area.

    Correct, all three birds apart from the Cirl are golden orioles. A pair and a juvenile.

    Correct, we had about 20 + mistle thrushes land together. Was unaware that they occasionally roost in flocks. And yes there’s also a starling.
