Distribution
Asia: found in the eastern Himalayas (Nepal to north-eastern India, south-western China and Burma) to Vietnam.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
The original spelling of the species name includes a "z" rather than the more expected "x".
Habitat
Temperate pine forests and rain forest clearings.
Behaviour
Moves around fast in top of trees.
Diet
Not well recorded; but they eat insects and almost certainly supplement this with pollen and fruit.
Movements
At least partly migratory.
