Whistling Warbler - BirdForum Opus

Identification

14.5 cm. Black hood, upperparts and breast-band, grey flanks, white underparts, broad white eye-ring, white tips to outertail feathers. Immature similar but brownish, with small whitish spot by bill. Frequently cocks tail.

Distribution

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.


Taxonomy

Monotypic.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests and montanes.

Behaviour

They often hang upside down to feed and the diet includes insects.
