Listening to several recordings demonstrate a certain variation in the song of this widespread species. On typical variant is 2 lower, quick sounds followed by 2 to 3 higher pitch and stronger and much more complex vocalizations. Another call is a fast repeated sound, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha- (or possibly ka-ka- ) repeated 5-8 times and sometimes followed by a twitter.
