Overview

Epirus region, northwest Greece in Vikos-Aoos National Park. Breathtaking scenery,excellent for birdwatching and botany. Best viewed from the "Balcony" above Monodendri.

Notable Species

Good for woodpeckers, Sombre Tit, Rock Bunting, Short-toed Eagle, Booted Eagle, and Golden Eagle, vultures, Common Buzzard and Honey Buzzard, Alpine Chough, Alpine Swift etc. with Tawny Pipit, Linnet and Shore Lark etc. to higher slopes.
