South-east Asia from easternmost Borneo and adjacent islands to South-western Philippines (Palawan and Culion).

Ventriloquial Oriole was formerly considered a part of Dark-throated Oriole.

Subspecies

Clements recognizes these subspecies[1]:

  • O. c. consobrinus: Eastern Borneo and adjacent islands.
  • O. c. persuasus: South-western Philippines (Palawan and Culion)
