14–15 cm (5½-6 in)
Male Nominate subspecies

  • Black head, nape and upper breast
  • White cheeks

Distribution

Socotra island (off Somalia)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Somali Grosbeak, Socotra Grosbeak, and Arabian Grosbeak were formerly considered one species, Golden-winged Grosbeak.
