Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.

Taxonomy

Subspecies

There are 2 subspecies^[1]:

• A. f. brevirostris:

• Puna of Andes of Peru and Bolivia - split as Puna Pipit by IOC

• A. f. furcatus:

• Extreme southeast Brazil to Paraguay, Uruguay and north Argentina
