Identification

- Pale bluish-grey upperparts
- Dark brown wings and tail
- Pale grey or white underparts
- Long bill with a downward tip
Distribution
South America: found from Peru through Bolivia and western Argentina to Chile.

Habitat
High-altitude shrubland and grassland and pastures, generally near rocky slopes, ravines and cliffs.
