Brazil, Venezuela and Peru; also Colombia and Bolivia.

Taxonomy

Subspecies

There are 3 subspecies^[1]:

• S. h. hypoleuca:

• South East Colombia to eastern Ecuador, eastern Peru, northern Bolivia and western Amazonian Brazil

• S. h. venezuelana:

• Tropical Venezuela (Apure, Anzoátegui and northern Bolívar)

• S. h. pallida:

• Amazonian Brazil south of the Amazon

Habitat

Moist shrubland.
