Africa: found from South Sudan to eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, southwestern Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and northwestern Tanzania
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1] and is one of the many Sunbirds that have recently been moved to the genus Cinnyris from the genus Nectarinia.
