Distribution
South America: found in southern Chile (Valdivia) and adjacent Argentina south to Tierra del Fuego.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Humid forest borders.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists almost entirely of insects, gleaned at various levels.
Breeding
The cup-shaped nest is formed from grass and moss. I may be attached to a bamboo stalk.
