Pale-browed Treehunter - BirdForum Opus

Rufous brown above, streaking on the back and head. Underparts are streaked with brown on buff. Long, straight bill, pale buff supercilium and cinnamon tail.




Two subspecies recognized:

  • C. l. leucophrus in eastern Brazil (southern Bahia south to Rio de Janeiro)
  • C. l. holti in southeastern Brazil (São Paulo south to northeastern Santa Catarina)


Rain forest.


Diet includes insects.
