Accipiter butleri

Identification

Distribution

Nicobar Islands.

Taxonomy

Subspecies: Two races recognised:

  • A. b. butleri on Car Nicobar Island; and
  • A. b. obsoletus in the southern Nicobars.

Habitat

Forest and woodlands.

Behaviour

They eat insects and small lizards.
