South America: endemic to coastal north-western Venezuela (Zulia and Falcón).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Resident in arid desert scrub and low thorny vegetation arid zone and associate with plants like:Acacia, Cercidium, Cardon.
